Everything is Breaking Down (#35)
Besides my personal worries and dreadgeries, lately, I've been thinking about the world as a whole. With this rise in mass media and public knowledge, people are constantly bombarded with negative ads in the overal message of the news, the world as a whole seems very horrible; and guess what people, its true, the world is full of that violence and hatred, its part of human nature, but it doesnt mean that's what everything is.
This world does have to realize that we will eventually destroy ourselves, if we cannot learn to at least respect what someone else thinks. We may not like it, we may abhor it, we may think that that other individual is stupid, but if we cant respect what they think and hold back from doing something about it, then yes ultimatly we will destroy ourselves.
The more I keep reading up on the news, with the rise in technology, and the ability to do things; the rise of power seems to unfold, there are nations of people, struggling against other nations of people to destroy the other because of their thoughts: He or she isnt worthy of life because they are an infidel an dont believe the same religion or way of life as us, or they must be stopped because they dont believe in democracy and therefore are an evil people; let the spiral of death begin.
Unless someone stands up for the world as a whole, and sees past the fog of hate, sees the potential of a human being, sees the reality of the human race; sees the truth about humans, and stands up to help this world understand themselves, and see the truth, simplify their life if they want it, help them achieve a sense of happiness through their interests and desires; then unless that happens, this world will die.
The rise in technology and science seems to accentuate the ability of someone to use it's power and therefore, have more power than another individual and use it to their advantage. They hate that other persons thoughts, so instead of learning to cope with it, learing to deal with it, or reason with it, they have power, and can eliminate that thought or idea with the use of force (thats very human to do).
We will destroy ourselves unless the people as a whole stand up or someone stands up for the world as a whole and does not entirely worry about their personal dilemma's, unless someone stands up for EVERYONE, than everyone fails but himself.
